{Airbrush Tanning Tips for Best Results}

BEFORE

1. Exfoliate.  This is extremely important! Exfoliate your skin the night before or morning of your appointment to remove dead skin cells. Best results can occur when exfoliation is done several hours prior to your spray session.

2. Be Clean.  Avoid wearing makeup, perfumes, lotions, oils, deodorants or any product on your skin that would create a barrier. Your skin MUST be completely clean & dry for the best results.

3. Dress Appropriately.  You may wear your swimsuit or undergarments during your tanning session. Bring dark, loose fitting clothing and undergarments to wear after your appointment.

AFTER

1. Avoid Water.  Wait 8 – 12 hours after your tan before showering, sweating or coming into contact with water.

2. Moisturize.  This is the most important step in maximizing your sunless tan. You can nearly double the life of your tan by using a quality moisturizer in the morning and evening after your first post-tan shower. Grace Salon carries Sunset Seas Care Products.

3. Avoid Products with Alcohol and AHA.  The most common cause of premature fading is due to the use of products (lotions and soaps) that contain alcohol. Please read the ingredient labels on your skin care products and avoid alcohol and AHA.
